Crockpot Hatch Green Chile Chicken Tacos
- 2 lbs chicken breasts
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbls lime juice
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh roasted hatch chiles
Place chicken into bottom of crockpot. Sprinkle seasoning on top.
Then add in chicken broth, lime juice, onions and hatch chiles. Cook on low for 5 hours. Shred chicken and cook for another 30 minutes.
Serve in tortillas with a sprinkle of cilantro
