Strawberry Sour Cream Scones


  • 2 cups all-purpose flour 

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1/3 cup cold butter 

  • 1/3 cup milk 

  • ½ cup sour cream 

  • 1 cup strawberries 


Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.

Cut butter into flour mix until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Mix in strawberries.

In a small bowl, combine milk and sour cream. Pour into strawberry mixture and blend with a spatula until a sticky dough forms.

Turn onto a lightly floured surface and roll out to ½-inch thickness. Cut dough in your favorite shape. Either round or like a piece of pie.

Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
